And yet, all of those are better call signs than "Husker."

Flipper, Cement, Purple, Cakeboy, and Camel.  Yeah I'm sure those names with never come up in idle conversation.  Oh, Cakeboy :P ;D

Since the Callsign Generator is from a game set in 1939-1941, then why is "rockstar" included? Was the term "rockstar" even used during in WW2?

Maybe, maybe not but I doubt the game makers care about historical accuracy.  :P

Actually, aside from "Purple", I could see all of those as real call signs. Since you get them from other people, there's a ton of situations that could result in someone getting a nickname like Camel, or Cakeboy.

And let's not forget "Rocket"  ;)

Yeah, I dunno where the fuck "Purple" came from, unless they recognized my superb leadership skills, and ability to rule over others. My royalty, if you will.

But seriously, anything less than "God" wouldn't do.

No, no.  I now how you like to get your freak on in a tub of Vaseline, or least Bond started to tell me one day but I had to make him stop.  He was going to show me the video, but I had to draw the line somewhere.  I had nightmares after that...such terrible nightmares... So anyway, never say I stopped anyone from gettin' their freak on.  Go for it dude. :P

Did you even take the time to ask the midget?

If midgets were people, then what Bond does to them would be morally wrong. But since they aren't people, who gives a fuck?

Sackhoff Signs Onto 'Bionic Woman' Pilot
Actress will continue to work with David Eick

By MICHAEL HINMAN
Source: Zap2it
Mar-20-2007

The working relationship between executive producer David Eick and actress Katee Sackhoff will definitely continue, but not the way you might think.

Sackhoff, late of "Battlestar Galactica" as the hotshot pilot Starbuck, has signed on to NBC's "Bionic Woman" remake, which is being led by BSG's Eick, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

It's not clear what Sackhoff's role would be outside of the fact that she will be an evil bionic woman. She apparently is being billed as a guest star which could mean only a one-time appearance, or possibly recurring if NBC picks the pilot up as a series.

The pilot stars Michelle Ryan as Jaime Sommers, and is the second series that Sackhoff will appear in that is a remake of a 1970s show. Sackhoff also has a role in "White Noise 2: The Light" which was released this year.

Before you get the DVR ready, please remember that television shows in the pilot stage have a small chance for pickup, and even high-profile ones like "Bionic Woman" have no guarantees they will get a series pickup or ever even air.

From Bear McCreary regarding "All Along the Watchtower":

Quote
Hi "Battlestar Galactica" fans!

I have to apologize for the late reply, but I hope you appreciate that
I've never seen my INBOX overflow like this! I was on vacation and returned
to find a million emails with the words "All Along the Watchtower" in the
subject heading. I hate "mass emails," but I'm left with no choice. If I
wrote each of you back personally, it would take me all week.

I'm thrilled that so many fans liked the "Watchtower" arrangement and
took the time to write me. Here are the answers to basically every question
I got:

1 ). The first release of "All Along the Watchtower" will be on the
"Battlestar Galactica Season 3" album in mid-August.

2 ). There will be no iTunes release, CD single, 45 or bees-wax cylinder of
"All Along the Watchtower" before the soundtrack album in August.

3 ). No, I cannot send you an mp3 even if you pinky-swear that you'll never
share it with anyone else, or offer "a million dollars," "beer," "womens" or
"Uber cool hardware"

4 ). The soundtrack album will also include the instrumental version of the
song when Tigh, Tory, Tyrol and Anders are wandering through the hallways.

5 ). Yes, the album version of "Watchtower" will include all 3 verses.

6 ). There are no plans to release a karaoke version of my "Watchtower"
arrangement. (No joke, I got more than one email about this!)

7 ). The live concert this year will be in Los Angeles, in August, to
coincide with the release of the season 3 soundtrack album. Details will be
posted on my website in the next few months.

8 ). There are no immediate plans to take the live concert and tour the rest
of the nation or the world. I hope to put together a touring version of the
concert sometime in the future.

9 ). A 2-disc Season 3 album is unlikely at this point, but rest assured that
the best of the best will make the cut.

10 ). There are plans in the works to release extra material from each season
that did not make the cut on any album so far. Most likely, these tracks
will be released after season 4.

11 ). Anything else I didn't cover can probably be answered here (click on
"BLOG"):

So say we all!

What if I offer him a million dollars, beer, womens, uber cool hardware, and Manticore?

Yet still no answer to my email asking "What kind of fucking jagoff names their kid 'Bear', anyway?".
