Although I am no longer really content with it, it is currently out of the question to redesign the whole site. However, as a start, I intend to replace the bland old banners, and I will be grateful for the help of talented graphics designers. 1. The banners should be designed to replace the already existing EAS banners: http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/contact.htm#bannersYou may pick single sizes you like to redesign, or take on the whole set. I may decide to add additional sizes if you deem them useful. 2. The banners must include the EAS star logo and the letters "Ex Astris Scientia" or "EAS" in some fashion. Feel free to switch to a new font, while the colors of the logo should remain unchanged. Logo template: http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/temp/easlogo-template.tif3. Please make sure that you can provide an uncompressed file type. What can you win? - Well, just kudos. You will be given due credit at EAS. The prospective closing date will be May 31. The decision will be made in a vote at the SCN. I reserve the right to pre-select banner designs. You can post your banners as inline images in this thread. Are you open to any minor logo changes/updates? My thoughts would keep it as the Starfleet emblem on a starburst yellow background, just slightly different.
If not, I understand, and will still give a go at a new banner.

Here's my entry. If you need any more sizes, just send me a PM.  468x60:  400x60:  300x80:  234x60:  EDIT: I redrew the arrowhead in Illustrator and added slightly different gradients. Hope that's ok. |
