Well, this site: http://www.bsg.cz/?jump=486 has December 5, 2008 as the date for the pilot...though I can't read much of the site, so I'm not sure where they got the info from.

Can anyone read that?

And that trailer was cool...definitely excited now.

^^^Yeah me too looks pretty cool and it seems different enough from Galactica that it can stand on its own.
“The boat dipped and swayed and sometimes took on water, but it did not sink; the two brothers had waterproofed it well. I do not know where it finally fetched up, if it ever did; perhaps it reached the sea and sails there forever, like a magic boat in a fairytale. All I know is that it was still afloat and still running on the breast of the flood when it passed the incorporated town limits of Derry, Maine, and there it passes out of this tale forever.” ― Stephen King, It"

I couldn't get the trailer to load on that site, but here's another copy:

I don't know, it still doesn't particularly grab me as being all that compelling. I think they could have dealt with the backstory of the Cylon skinjobs on Galactica itself through flashbacks told from the perspective of the Final Cylon, and kept that much more interesting show running instead. Maybe it's too expensive to run though.

Plus this just seems to convolute the backstory of the Cylons even more than before. If Skinjobs already existed, what were the ones they were creating in the Cylon lab in 'Razor'? Did they not know how to duplicate the technology?

I'll still watch it, because it has a great cast (good to see they added Polly Walker in there too) and it's Galactica related, but I'm not at all enthused so far.

This looks very interesting! I would indeed be cool if the Cylon religion started in the 12 colonies.
