I got out of Jason Bourne about 20-30 mins ago. This one's a completely different animal from the others. The pacing seems a touch slower, but I wouldn't call that a bad thing. I had been scratching my head over why they didn't use the normal title formula, The Bourne _____, since the title was announced after seeing it I have an idea. Nothing would have fit.

I got out of Suicide Squad about an hour ago. I don't know what movie the critics saw because it clearly wasn't this one.

I enjoyed Suicide Squad. It certainly had problems, a poorly developed threat that relied too much on CGI, some of the dialog was painful, and everyone not named Deadshot or Harley was poorly developed, but I enjoyed it. It was certainly the Deadshot and Harley show, with everyone else along for the ride.

I liked the Joker and that the movie wasn't specifically about him and Batman. I liked Margot Robbie as Harley more than I thought I would, but I still think she was badly cast.

Finally saw Batman V Superman.  Pretty good movie.  Though I wonder if there was anything more to those dreams/hallucinations that Batman was having.  At the least, I assume the quick scene with the Flash talking to Batman actually happened rather than being a dream, since Batman wouldn't have known about The Flash existing to have that dream.

Yeah, I think that sequence has generally been accepted as 'what might be.'

I got out of Doctor Strange about a half an hour ago. Forget everything you think you know about the MCU.

I got out of Assassin's Creed almost an hour ago... Going in I knew the basics, but I still thought it was interesting. For anybody, like me, who hasn't played the games I don't think they're required before you go in.

I got out of Monster Trucks about 40 mins ago (I was talked into it). The concept may seem silly, but it works.

I take it that means it sucks?

Anybody watching the new 24? Or APB?

So far I like both.  Although I get the feeling APB won't last very long, what with FOX's habit of canning shows.  And Heath on TWD is probably dead, his "hair game" will be missed.

John Wick Chapter 2...Awesome...if you enjoyed the first movie, the second delivers the same enjoyment, if not, more! It kind of starts out the same as the first but it works its way to being a sequel with more. The ending leaves it open to interpretation of how a third movie could be if they are serious about entertaining the idea.

Agreed. I saw it opening night. I love that character and world so much.
It's a great action film, very grounded and realistic. I would highly recommend it, though do watch the first one first if you haven't already. Which you should do at your earliest convenience.

I saw The Great Wall a little over an hour ago. This was my second attempt the first was on Friday, and marred by the 3D not working.

This was quite the movie. If you've been concerned about going because of White Washing or some White Savior thing. Don't be. Matt was written as a foreigner and his only skill was above average archery.

Just got back from seeing Fist Fight. It's been a long while since I laughed like that, my girlfriend thought I was going to die during one scene.

I got out of Logan a little over an hour ago. It was a good send off to both Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart.

I saw Logan last Friday and it certainly lived up to the hype. It's easily the best Wolverine movie they've made and my favorite xmen movie.

A slight misunderstanding aside, I saw Kong over an hour ago. It's a good add on to the universe they're trying to build.

I got out of Power Rangers about a half an hour ago. It was better than I was expecting. If I had one complaint, it would be that they could have had the Rangers Morph earlier than they did.

I saw it tonight as well. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The sequel set up was pretty awesome.

Yeah, how they set up the sequel was interesting. (I didn't expect to say this when I first heard about this one.) Here's hoping they get the chance to *do* the sequel.
