Hmm interesting see just how plain SCN looked in those days.
“The boat dipped and swayed and sometimes took on water, but it did not sink; the two brothers had waterproofed it well. I do not know where it finally fetched up, if it ever did; perhaps it reached the sea and sails there forever, like a magic boat in a fairytale. All I know is that it was still afloat and still running on the breast of the flood when it passed the incorporated town limits of Derry, Maine, and there it passes out of this tale forever.” ― Stephen King, It"

He posts all the time at TrekBBS under the user name Kegek. He has a Talaxian avatar. You've probably seen him around, he posts in a lot of different forums there.

Oh, the times. In the days that NX and Todd were still meddling with TBW; Pally did some fine writing; and I still had to discover the marvel that modelling is (I still sketch!). I've been around now for what, almost (in three days) six years!

Yeah, he even graces us with his presence over at CIDvision occasionally, though it's been a while since the last time.

I don't remember exactly when I signed up.  I signed up at Flare in 1999, probably followed Bernd here when this forum started.  Went from admin, to mod, to royalty, all by my own choice... I just can't devote the kind of time needed for those types of positions and figured someone with both the ability and desire would be better suited.

Lets see... first I started out by doing logos, graphics and other design and HTML work for the forum.  Did some graphic work for Renaissance... designed the commbadge, uniforms, rank insignia, pitched a couple plot ideas.

I can't remember what was said in the shuttlecraft conversation any more, a transcript would be nice.

I learned that SCN was a place that I could always come back to and feel right at home. That standing at the mall with my girlfriend's purse and a pink fuzzy poodle was an insult to all things manhood. Bond enlightened me, that was before he discovered I was a girl! ;)

I have been busy with real life. It gets us all in the end, but I have managed to find my way back here. I missed you guys.
It kills me that all the old stuff was lost with the board's move. It's been so long that I forgot what my member status was!

So who all is still here from the gang? I saw Bond, Bernd, Razor, TRA, Manticore, Borgman, and several others. Is Kiribell or Nathan still here?

I'm struggling to remember the name and I've been around since summer '03. You must be one of the real old-timers!

Kiribell hasn't been seen in a while. Nathan left years ago.
