Well the bridge has been reveled and so has Destiny's mission. Basically the Ancients found evidence that the universe may have been artificially created and Destiny was built to find proof.  I wonder if this has some connection to the "meaning of life stuff" from that SG-1 episode with the meeting place for the Ancients, Asgard, Nox, and Furlings.  This could also be related to the planet with the obelisk.  Also they found pods from the aliens on the Seed Ship on the alien ship they found.  I wonder if it was something they were probing or if it was one of their ships.

Oh, and Ginn and Amanda Perry are dead, killed by one of the Lucian Alliance guys (Simeon).   Where the frak was the guard who should have been escorting him?

Very cool episode.  One thing that really caught my eye...Eli taking charge.  He knew something was up and took initiative to figure out what was going on while Volker and Brody just seemed to be muddling about.  He seems to be coming into his own as a member of the crew.  The exchange between Rush and Young was great and they genuinly seemed to come to an understanding.  As for the destiny's mission...wow thats all I can say.
“The boat dipped and swayed and sometimes took on water, but it did not sink; the two brothers had waterproofed it well. I do not know where it finally fetched up, if it ever did; perhaps it reached the sea and sails there forever, like a magic boat in a fairytale. All I know is that it was still afloat and still running on the breast of the flood when it passed the incorporated town limits of Derry, Maine, and there it passes out of this tale forever.” ― Stephen King, It"

Loved it, particularly everything with Eli when they found the bridge.  It was great seeing him go off and taking charge amid all the growing suspense, which really felt more dire then in some of the previous episodes, particularly given there wasn't a lot of actual action.  But with everything happening so fast and numerous threads coming to a head, it all played really well.

And what an awesome final reveal of Destiny's true mission.  They're really shooting for a stand up science fiction story, as opposed to the more sci-fi action adventure fair that we usually see.

The only thing I didn't like was the preview for next week which pretty much reveals the fate of Ginn and perry.  Way to go Sci-fi channel.

I haven't seen the episode yet, was planning on watching it later tonight. Sounds like it is going to be good. Do you guys think this is enough to kick start it a bit? I've been hearing some rumbling and rumors that it has been doing horrible in ratings. I hope SciFi doesn't decide to can this too to free up more funds for the new BSG spinoff. I also read that this show is rather expensive on the production side (VFX and what not). It's by no means my favorite, but I would like this to get at least a reasonable chance to see where it might go.

Same here...even Scott got backseated to him.

It's nice to see that Rush and Young are finally going to more or less bury the hatchet, whether they like it or not, with respect to their rivalry, for lack of a better term.

If they were going to kill of Ginn, they should have definitely started the Eli-Ginn lovin' a bit earlier to give it more emotional resonance.  I'll be pretty bummed if she dies.  It could just be trailer fakery...SPACE's promo for last week just showed "I can't, it's overloading"/blue alien/Scott punching out Young, giving the impression Young gave Chloe away to force a truce...however, I get the impression SyFy's are usually more straight to the point.

Anyway, interesting episode, not as epic as some people were promoting it, but it's nice to see things finally coming into place to some extent.  I'm interested to see where the Young-Rush detente goes, and that the bridge secret is out.  I don't think the show got quite as much suspense out of some of the storylines as the creators want to believe, so I'm happy to see some things revealed and everything settling down for business - the mission.
