Has anyone been keeping tabs on Dark Matter? Seems interesting.

I have. So far, I like it. I'm just not sure how long they can make it last.

So far its been interesting enough.  Fun fact: the young girl with the green hair is played by the same person that played A) A young Adria (SG-1) and B) that spoiled princess Harmony in that mostly forgettable SGA episode.

She was one of the faces I recognized just from watching the commercials.

The last couple episodes have not been bad, but kind of out there on left field. We really don't have an origin story for the Dark Matter universe; the when, where and hows are missing to give it a backstory. I hope they intend to fill in those gaps sometime soon.

Well, given that the show focuses on six people with no memories of their pasts, its understandable that we don't have much backstory.  I image that they'd give some backstory in bits and pieces as the show goes on.

Did any one else get a Recall/Rekall (from Total Recall) vibe from that commercial in the doctor's office (the one where your memories and thoughts are transferred via subspace to a duplicate then transferred back to you when your duplicate's vacation is over)? And also did anyone else think that has something to do with why they have no memories?

Seems to be picking up some. I'm liking it fairly well. Got some good stuff in the last couple episodes.

Yeah, I think I find Four's story the most interesting out of all of them so far. It's probably the Japanese elements that have my attention.

Maybe the reason why they don't have any back ground stories is that they might have been sent to Earth from an alien species residing within Dark Matter space on a mission to understand humanity and the space that we live in.

If they had memories then they would remember where they came from exposing their mission and their benefactors.

A little bit of a stretch since they haven't even hinted that there are aliens in this setting.

Interesting season finale. Wil Wheaton's appearance was a surprise. The information surrounding the device is quite, intriguing.

Yes, last night was interesting. Left us with as many questions as it answered. Season 2 should be interesting. Assuming they get it. (knock on wood)

This season of Dark Matter is really interesting I'd say! Terra Prime (Earth) was mentioned in this past episode. I'm curious now!

It's becoming more obvious that the Rahza will start a war with the Corporations, and the Galactic Authority.

I'm not sure the Raza will start the war, it looks like the Corporations have been at each others throats for some time now, though the Raza's actions will certainly get used as an excuse for them to go to war.  Of course the Galactic Authority will get involved in it and the Raza will either have to stay independent or pick a side.

Yeah, I'm not sure they'll be the ones to start it, but they will finish it, in a figurative sense.

I didn't mean to say start, I meant go to war. Things are at a tipping point, and both the corporations and the GA have pissed off the wrong group of people.

Last night's Episode

-"Seers"
-Corporation wars are definitely happening
-We are going to have to guess who's the next one to betray the crew
-Two's hand started shaking (nanite failure? Could be the reason to go to Terra Prime if they plan it)
-Android "turned off" her upgrade for the time being.
-Next episode looks like it's gonna be good!

Yeah, of everything that happened last night, what's happened with Two has me particularly concerned.

As far as betrayal goes, my money is on the druggie medic guy, for now anyway.

Yeah, I can't say I'm going to miss him if this is his bow out. He didn't do much, so I don't feel that attached to him.

At least he had a somewhat heroic exit, not selling Nyx out to the Seers.
