Ok I did not expect to wake up this morning and see the headline "DC Sniper confesses to William Shatner" staring at me on MSN.

This isn't news per se, so, lacking a "Holy shit that is fucking badass" thread, here we are.

Lithuanian brothers steal cars using an Audi S6 with a transplanted engine (w/large bores and added turbochargers) and bulletproof doors and tires (I presume they just mean runflats).  Rather than using it as a getaway car, they use it to tow the victim cars, in one case at 140 mph.  I know they're criminals but...damn.

This needs to be a movie, NOW.

God bless you Jimi, that was the most concentrated stream of crazy outside of Sarah Palin's Twilight slash fiction.

I can't believe how much she worked in one video.  Reptoids!  Soylent Green!  Obamaphobia!  Embodiment of the universe!  FEMA!  Solar flares!  I think the only check box she missed was 9/11, but she went an unconventional route and really worked the tsunami angle.  And she might of mentioned 9/11, I was lol'ing at the crazy and probably missed it.

I feel slightly less sane just having watched that.

Sheep ring what orcs wales what?

Apparently this is an anthropormophized Wales proposing to an anthropormophized New Zealand...who tosses the ring into Mt. Doom?

And the volcano is in Iceland apparently?

This blew my mind, so I had to blow someone else's.

I love that comic. Finland is fucking amazing. My favorite, though, is the one with the Koreas. The way North Korea is drawn makes me laugh every time. Had to use it as a Facebook & Twitter icon.

Your Mom's Breast milk in a Ice Cream bowl.

Shop to make breast milk ice cream

Oddly Enough »
LONDON | Fri Feb 25, 2011 1:56pm EST

LONDON (Reuters) - A specialist ice cream parlor plans to serve up breast milk ice cream and says people should think of it as an organic, free-range treat.

The breast milk concoction, called the "Baby Gaga," will be available from Friday at the Icecreamists restaurant in London's Covent Garden.

Icecreamists founder Matt O'Connor was confident his take on the "miracle of motherhood" and priced at a hefty 14 pounds ($23) a serving will go down a treat with the paying public.

The breast milk was provided by mothers who answered an advertisement on online mothers' forum Mumsnet.

Victoria Hiley, 35, from London was one of 15 women who donated milk to the restaurant after seeing the advert.

Hiley works with women who have problems breast-feeding their babies. She said she believes that if adults realized how tasty breast milk actually is, then new mothers would be more willing to breast-feed their own newborns.

"What could be more natural than fresh, free-range mother's milk in an ice cream? And for me it's a recession beater too -- what's the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash," Hiley said in a statement.

"I tried the product for the first time today -- it's very nice, it really melts in the mouth."

The Baby Gaga recipe blends breast milk with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest, which is then churned into ice cream.

O'Connor said the Baby Gaga was just one of a dozen radical new flavors at the shop.

"Some people will hear about it and go, 'yuck' but actually it's pure, organic, free-range and totally natural," he said. "I had a Baby Gaga just this morning and I feel great."

This just in, Great Britain predicted to implode in an orgy of decadence.

Seriously though, it just seems over the top to create a business model around this product. At least in so far as to actually put it up on the menu. I could see it being justified in a store that will make custom ice cream on a per customer basis, and if they really wanted breast milk ice cream, then they should secure the milk themselves. I predict that this will be exciting for a couple months, before it starts to wind down for one of two reasons. Either the interest will largely fade, and it'll quietly drop off the selection, or, the 'supply' this sort of product needs will dry up, pun not intended, as the women realize that they're basically becoming cows once they're subjected to real commercial demand.

I like the name. But I do want to know how they plan on insuring that the milk comes from free-range mothers only.

That's a pretty strange conjunction of words, I think. I get a sort of Pythonesque picture of a bunch of cross-dressers (it has to be cross-dressers, or it wouldn't be Pythonesque) in floral print dresses roaming about in a muddy field somewhere. And Michael Palin with a pipe and a beard talking about how the weather and Thatcher's foreign policies makes their milk run sour...
Steady on.

Ugh...

I just thought of a drinking game.  Read the article and drink every time you see the phrase "free-range". :P
Seriously though, did they get paid extra for saying "free-range" because they said it a lot.

I was doing some research about Canadian TV when I came across this and I had to post it...

Good lord Xero you had to put up with this crazed pixie roaming your TV stations.  I just got type 2 diabetes listening to this woman talk...why hasn't David Cronenberg ground her into fairy dust yet for the good of Canada.
