Here is the line work for my next Titan of Two Worlds Covers. This is the Federation version featuring My take on Commander Vale. I am basing her off of Katee "Starbuck" Sackhoff" Illustration by Sean Tourangeau

Looking at the book covers......I wonder.......Who would prevail if the I.S.S. Titan for some reason or the other engaged the U.S.S. Titan in armed combat?

I hate to say it but I think the I.S.S. Titan has it won mainly because of it's weapons and defensive systems. The U.S.S. titan may have a great crew, but it was not designed with combat in mind.

Well it has been a while since I have posted any new Imperial starship designs. Here is my take on a Peregrine (Bird of Prey) class starship. I would like to present the I.S.S. Kestrel. http://hammerheadgraphics.iwarp.com/I.S.S.Kestrel.jpg

The idea of the Kestrel is so simple. Yet it is quite impressive.

You know, I knew I'd seen that layout before, and seeing it stripped of your reworking made me realize where I'd seen it: http://www.inpayne.com/models/kitbash/trekpage_peregrine.htmlI think this guy was the original creator ofthat plaform--it's been on that site for years. Still, regardless, it's a nifty little plaform, and your take on it is very cool.

Since I had surgery on my hand I haven't been keeping up with posting my sketches from this summer. So here is the first batch. I decided to split them into Trek and non-Trek Sketch Dumps. As you can tell this is the Trek Dump. My surgery happened on 6-25-09 so July was a Light sketch month. Enjoy and I will post the other No-Trek Sketches later this week. Well Had a growth/ Non-Cancerous Tumor removed from my middle fingure of my right/ drawing hand. It was removed last year, but regrew bigger so they had to do a more invassive surgery to remove it. So I was not able to draw or sketch for a month. The good news is that it was not cancerous. So after physical therapy and time off I was back to work by mid August. I am just now getting to scan my sketches in and orinize them.

Here is another Titan of Two Worlds Comic Cover. I am still working on the Federation Universe Version of this image, but I figured I would post the Dark Mirror version for everyone. This Features Lt. Christine Vale. In the normal Federation Universe she is a commander and first officer of the U.S.S. Titan. But in Dark Mirror Universe she was not offered that posting, but She was made a full LT. and is head of the I.S.S. Titan's Security Teams. I based this image off of Katie Sackoff. I have always invisioned her as a good fit for the character of Vale. Vale Hand Drawn and Colored in Photoshop CS3 I.S.S. Titan Bridge Created in Adobe Illustrator CS3 Sean Tourangeau 2009

I like the idea of Katie Sackoff as Vale, she always has seemed a little Starbuck-ish. Any chance we'll see Dark Mirror versions of the rest of the Titan crew?
