What was the context?
I have selective reading.

Er...happy birthday, Flagg? There’s a piece of birthday cake next to his age on his profile...I assume that means his birthday is close?

To break in neo-SCN I thought it best for a long overdue chapter of....

SCN Secrets

Bond James Bond - Nearly lost his job as a science teacher by telling his students that life was created when Jack Bauer used a time machine to go back in time and masturbated into the primordial soup.  He has since sent this story idea to the producers of "24" but has yet to receive a response.

Maple Dog - Has many Demons. . . polite demons that would open the door for a lady carrying too many parcels, but demons nonetheless!"

Darmok - Hasn't been able to get a date for nearly a year now because Kestra has been taking his potential girlfriends aside for a "quiet chat"  :-X

Flagg - Spend his free time sitting outside in a lawnchair pretending to crush people's heads with his thumb and forefinger.

Razor - His grandfather was....Walt Disney.

Bernd - Despite his clever ruse pretending to be disgusted by its architecture actually lives here...

Edit P.S welcome to the club Darmok

I only ever did that with my sister's boyfriends!  :P

She actually warned her now fiance that I might be mean when I first met him.  I do get a little protective.

Actually I put that down as I recently found out that both my older and younger sisters have been pulling my girlfriends aside and giving them the "quiet chat".

So I got a co-op job offer from Honeywell Aerospace (basically a co-op is I work there for a semester, then go to school for a semester, and alternate like that). I'm not sure if I want to take it though. I would be helping design navigational controls for airplanes right now, which isn't exactly what I want to do. But after graduation, they said it's easy to move between divisions in the company, so I could work with Space stuff, which is what I want to do.

Well it depends, is it the "valuable work experience" type of thing or the "make the intern make the coffee"?

Congratulations! and Take the Job, even if you don't stay there it's a great networking opportunity.

It's the Valuable experience one - that's the difference between an internship and a Co-op.  While I was Co-oping at Copeland, I was participation in the design and testing of the next generation Midsized AC compressor (among other things).  I don't know the atmosphere at Honeywell, but if it's anything like Copeland, he'll enjoy it.
